Dopo ogni singola dose di sonno che ci autosomministriamo quotidianamente, anche più volte al giorno in alcuni casi, c’è un risveglio. I risvegli si sommano si accavallano si sdoppiano. Si ripetono misteriosamente identici. Eppure sembrano risvegli, a tutti gli effetti. In realtà, secondo un’antica tradizione, si dorme quando si è svegli e si è svegli nel sonno.

Mercoledì 30 luglio, dalle 22, Sleep Dose #136 (Risveglio). In una catena di battiti alla continua ricerca di una loro sincronicità, si starà molli e fluidi all’ascolto di una selezione rigorosamente deep techno, profondamente onirica, in compagnia della selenica Hypnus Records, di alcune sue sussidiarie come Outis e Tome, e della tedesche 012 Records, Pragmat, Prologue e l’intramontabile Basic Channel. In coda, una chicca techno modulare di Caterina Barbieri, per dilatare la coscienza nella deriva drone.

Ultima puntata prima di una pausa estiva di qualche settimana. Stiamo panici.

After every single dose of sleep that we self-administer daily, even several times a day in some cases, there is an awakening. The awakenings add up, overlap. They split apart. They repeat themselves mysteriously identical. Yet they seem like awakenings, for all intents. In fact, according to an ancient tradition, one sleeps when awake and is awake in sleep.

Wednesday, July 30, from 10 p.m. on radiobandito.it, Sleep Dose #136 (Awakening). In a chain of beats constantly searching for their own synchronicity, we will stay soft and fluid listening to a strictly deep techno session, deeply dreamy in the company of selenic Hypnus Records, some of its subsidiaries such as Outis and Tome, and German 012 Records, Pragmat, Prologue and the timeless Basic Channel. As a final track, a modular techno gem by Caterina Barbieri, to dilate consciousness in the drone drift.

Sleep Dose, a collection of oblique, abstract and mysterious music curated by NigNigNig, fluctuating between soundscapes, psychogeographies, future and past eras and stormy dream states.

Starting from an archive of over fifty thousand tracks, the selection of tracks, determined by a prior use of tags, follows a random pattern. The result is a playlist arbitrarily limited to a maximum of 23 tracks; each playlist is then randomly mixed and reprocessed through the use of effects.

The sequence of song titles creates involuntary forms of automatic poetry, offering moments of unpredictable lyricism and narrative coherence… as well as the flow of our personal dream world, not only during sleep.
