Il Basho, secondo Nishida, è uno spazio in cui i pensieri, i fenomeni e le esperienze sono reciprocamente interconnessi. Scrutiamo insieme questo luogo attraverso l’ascolto di una fantasia sonora che, da un’atmosfera di luce e colore, sfuma in un fervido e algoso paesaggio finale in cui solo più dissolvono figure illusorie.

Tra microsuoni di ghiacciai in decomposizione e i gorgoglii oscuri della Macchina Umana immaginata da Julien Offray de La Mettrie, spunta il profilo dei futuristici edifici baccello abbandonati di Sanzhi Pod City, nel nord di Taiwan.

Basho, according to Nishida, is a space in which thoughts, phenomena and experiences are mutually interconnected. We peer together into this place through listening to a sonic fantasy that, from an atmosphere of light and color, fades into a fervid and algose final landscape in which illusory figures dissolve.

Between micro sounds of decaying glaciers and the dark gurgles of the Human Machine imagined by Julien Offray de La Mettrie, the outline of the futuristic abandoned pod buildings in Sanzhi Pod City, northern Taiwan, pops up.
