Mercoledì 14 ottobre, Sleep Dose #181 (Vastità Irrisolta, una mixtape di NigNigNig).
Questa notte una puntata in afonia, ma che reca in sé una cesta colma di sonorità frutto di recenti pubblicazioni, in bilico tra elettronica (con estratti dall’ultimo lavoro di Tobia Poltronieri, un pizzico di Primeiro, la minimal techno acustica di Institut Für Feinmotorik, un tributo alla rarefazione con un brano da Concept di Richie Hawtin; e ancora, un pezzo di LIKΣN, un singolo di Gordan – canti dalla tradizione dei lavoratori migranti dai paesi balcanici e beat groovy targato Glitterbeat – e poi, in chiusura di prima parte, Emily A. Sprague e Laura Boer, due dolcissime artiste in vena di coccole autunnali) e musiche di avanguardia per organo e pianoforte.
Nella seconda parte, infatti, spazio all’elettroacustica con le tracce di Jordan Sand, Kali Malone, Mark Peter Wright, Ingfrid Breie Nyhus, Stefano Calderano & Giovanni Di Domenico, Kai Fagaschinski, e il progetto di Philip Samartzis e Michael Vorfeld per Room 40 intitolato Atmospheric Pressure, un condensato di field recordings ripreso in una stazione di ricerca in Antartide, dove il 15 febbraio 2016 una bufera durata 36h scuote la stazione Casey tra inquietanti vibrazioni, pressione estrema e suoni misteriosi.
In chiusura i lavori orientati all’ambient music e all’ascolto profondo di Crys Cole e di Matt Rösner, testando, tra vastità irrisolte, acque sconosciute, con lo sguardo che già punta verso montagne, salde e impassibili, appena tinte da un velo di bianco.

Tonight’s episode is a bit subdued, but it brings with it a basket brimming with sounds from recent releases, poised between electronic music (with excerpts from Tobia Poltronieri’s latest work, a dash of Primeiro, the acoustic minimal techno of Institut Für Feinmotorik, a tribute to rarity with a track from Richie Hawtin’s *Concept*, and another piece by LIKΣN, a single by Gordan—songs from the tradition of migrant workers from the Balkan countries and groovy beats from Glitterbeat—and then, to close out the first half, Emily A. Sprague and Laura Boer, two utterly sweet artists in the mood for some autumnal coziness) and avant-garde music for organ and piano.
In the second part, in fact, the spotlight shifts to electroacoustic music with tracks by Jordan Sand, Kali Malone, Mark Peter Wright, Ingfrid Breie Nyhus, Stefano Calderano & Giovanni Di Domenico, Kai Fagaschinski, and the project by Philip Samartzis and Michael Vorfeld for Room 40 titled *Atmospheric Pressure*, a compilation of field recordings taken at a research station in Antarctica, where on February 15, 2016, a 36-hour storm shook Casey Station amid unsettling vibrations, extreme pressure, and mysterious sounds.
The program concludes with works by Crys Cole and Matt Rösner focused on ambient music and deep listening, exploring unresolved vastnesses and uncharted waters, while the gaze is already fixed on the mountains—standing steadfast, barely tinged with a veil of white.
